NORFOLK Police have charged a second man in a shooting death last Wednesday on Jason Avenue. Roy Turner, 29, is charged with murder, robbery, possessing and transporting firearms as a convicted felon and use or display of a firearm in a felony, police said. Turner, who lives in the 8400 block of Capeview Ave., is being held without bond.

NORFOLK A man once charged in the slaying of a Norfolk police officer has been charged in the shooting death of another man found Wednesday in the front yard of a home on Jason Avenue. Kareem H. Turner, 26, was charged with murder and use of a firearm in a felony in connection with the death of Dajuan F. Glover, according to a police news release.

Portsmouth stabbing suspect taken into Navy custody

Petty Officer 3rd Class Wilbur Harwell’s charges were dropped in federal court Thursday.
